Local Database Size
Limit by Number of records Limit the size of the V-POS replicated Database by number of records.
Limit by number of days Limit the size of the V-POS replicated Database by number of days.
Match server days of storage
Limit the size of the V-POS replicated Database by matching the days of
footage on the VIGIL Server. This is the recommended setting.
7.3.3 Email Settings Tab
SMTP Server
Location
The IP address or DNS name
of the Mail Server.
Port
The port number on the Mail
Server. The default mail
port is 25.
From
The Name and Email
Address displayed in the out-
going emails.
Requires SSL
Check if the SMTP Server
requires SSL Security.
Requires
Authentication
If the Mail Server requires
authentication, check this
box.
User Name /
Password
The User Name and Pass-
word for the Mail Server
authentication.
Attachment
Images Quality
Select whether to send
attached images at Reduced
(CIF) or Full Resolution.
7.3.4 Event Settings Tab
Custom Flags can be created to mark Exception Events in the Event Window. Flags
can be assigned a colour so they can be easily located in the VPOS Exceptions win-
dows.
Add / Edit
Opens the Add / Edit Event Flag window. On that
window you can Enter a Name for the Flag and
select a custom color for the flag.
Delete Click to Delete the selected Flag.
